Injury possibly kills the Pirates in week 5

The Pirates came out ready to play in the beginning of game this past week against the Wildcats, but after an injury to the starting Quarterback, Justin Hansen, the team let down. The final score was 22-28 Wildcats, in OT. The Pirates started the scoring with a 28 yard pass from Hansen to AJ Bormann to put them up 6-0. In the second quarter Scott Servine passed to AJ again on a 14 yard toss. Dillion (Dora) Martin ran in the PAT for a 14-0 score. On the Pirates next drive Max Renning found Nathan Gutzmann in the end zone for six. Dillion ran the conversion for a 22-0 score. On the Wildcats next drive Koch ran for a 46 yard touchdown and PAT to make it 22-8, going into half time. Koch ran in a one yard run and a 63 yard run in the 4th quarter. In overtime Koch ran a ten yard scamper to take the win 22-28. Travis Albrecht was leading unassisted tackle with 9 solos 1 assist. Max Renning and Dillion Martin each chipped in 12. Martin rushed 28 times for 135 yards while Albrecht rushed 10 times for 46 yards. In the passing game Renning came in off the bench and was 2 for 6 for 45 yards. AJ was leading receiver with 2 catches for 42 yards and 2 touchdowns.
