*I was born and raised in Wakefield, Ne (yes, the rival to the Pirates).

My mother, Diane (Belt) Johnson was born and raised here in Emerson.

She attended Emerson-Hubbard Schools and graduated. My Father, A.J.

Johnson was born, raised and graduated High School at Wakefield in 2000. 

I played on the College Golf Team. We traveled to many states and played

some wonderful courses that I will never forget.

Also at York College, I student taught in first grade, in a little town called

McCool Junction, 6 miles south of York. It was a very memorable experience,

and I am lucky to have had the opportunity to student teach in their community

*In the summer of 2006, my family purchased a restaurant in Wakefield. It is

named SIDELINES Bar & Grille. I help my parents whenever I can, and

it definitely keeps Diane (mom) busy. AJ (dad) works at Crystal Farms

as a Wharehouse Manager/ Dispatcher. Also in his "spare time" he

helps mom at SIDELINES.

*In 2006, I was the Preschool Teacher here at Emerson-Hubbard.It

was a very exhilerating experience and I loved every minute of it. 

This year I was moved to 4th grade (which is a little bit of a jump)

but they still get very excited about some of the same things as when they

were younger. The bunch I have this year are wonderful, I would not trade

a single one. It is a great group to start out my first full year of teaching with.

They are all unique in many different ways and they know that they can share

ideas and thoughts with me whenever needed.

*I am currently living in Wayne, Nebraska. Brian and I are expecting a

child at the end of March/beginning of April. We are both very excited and

nervous at the same time.
