Biography

I grew up on a farm near Algona, Iowa. I graduated from Bishop Garrigan High School, located in Algona, Iowa, in 1982. From 1982 to 1986 I attended Briair Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa, on a baseball scholarship. There I earned a Bachelor's degree in History with a secondary teaching endorsement. I started teaching at Emerson-Hubbard High School in the Fall of 1986. In 1991, I earned a Master's Degree in Physical Education from Wayne State College. In 2002, I earned a Master's Degree in Secondary Administration from Wayne State College. I am in my twenty second year of teaching high school social studies at Emerson-Hubbard.
