Mrs. Krivolavek's Biography
by Kim Krivolavek
January 02, 2008
I was born in Sioux Falls, SD and went to West Central School in Hartford, SD from Kindergarten to the 12th grade. After High School, I attended the University of South Dakota in Vermillion and majored in Music Education with an emphasis in K-12 Vocal Music.
Upon graduation in 1995, I moved to Spencer, NE where I took my first teaching position. I taught Kindergarten through 12th grade Vocal and Instrumental music. I was there for eight years with many extra duties, including cheerleading, one-act, and junior class sponsor.
I then moved to Orchard, NE where I also taught Kindergarten through 12th grade Vocal and Instrumental Music, but without all the extra duties. I enjoyed my time there for three years.
That takes me to where I am now--Emerson-Hubbard. I am a part-time 4-12 Vocal Teacher and am very excited to be here. I am married to Dan and we have four children, 3 boys and 1 girl-Michael, Danny, Miranda, and Carter.
