The E-H Lady Pirates played two tough games Tuesday night at the triangular with Northbend and Pender. They played pretty good as a team against Northbend. They played an ok first set and lost 10-25. In the second set of the game they played more as a team and closed the gap a little bit with an 18-25 loss.
"We played hard but we all made little mistakes that we need to fix. All in all it was an ok night for us and we know we are going to come out strong in the up coming games," says senior, Alexa Heeney.
The Lady Pirates had a lot of great moments. Caitlin Casey and Alexa Heeney both had 3 nice kills during the game. The top serves for the night were Marissa Blanke with 7 out of 7, Brittni Bormann with 6 out of 6, and Jenna Roeber with 6 out of 6. The setter, Jenna Roeber, did a very good job and was very consistent with her sets; Danielle Lux did a great job stepping in for Jenna when she called for help.
Please come out and help support our Lady Pirates in their up coming games!
