Emerson-Hubbard Dance Team

It's the second year for the Emerson-Hubbard Dance Team and things have started off on a great note!
Four members from last year's team returned this year, and three more talented dancers came into the mix. First the returns to the dance team are Alexa Heeney, Haley Koopman, Danielle Lux, and Justine Sebade, the new members are Elizabeth Figueroa, Catherine Duerksen, and Rachel Wyatt. Captains this year are Alexa Heeney and Justine Sebade, and our couch is Brenda Sebade.
As a team we have been working really hard, and having a lot of fun doing it along the way. Through the summer we worked really hard with practices, and even attended a dance camp and got a ribbons and a trophy in the process!
Our first performance was the night of the first home football game. We performed to a song called Shabam. It is a mix song, that started off as a pom, and then turned into a hip-hop. We were all on beat and danced the best we have ever danced before that night! If you would like to come and see us dance, the next time that we perform will be October 8., the next home football game. We will be performing a hip-hop dance, and we would love to see you there!
