Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament
On Monday, October 26th the Lady Pirates ended up playing Wynot in Wynot for the Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament. The girls have had a rough season this year and coming into the tournament and playing the number 1 seed in the conference right away was going to be tough as well. They played really good during all three sets that night. They played tough but came up short. Scores for those games were 14/25,20/25, 12/25.
"We definitely stepped it up against Wynot. We knew it was going to be a tough game but we didn't let that stop us," says senior, Alexa Heeney.
Our quote for the Wynot game was, "Motivate and Eliminate!" and that is exactly what we did. We motivated each other the whole game.
