West Point CC was the second game for the girls this season. Leading rebounder was Caitlin Casey with 9, she also was leading with assists at 5. Brittni Bormann and Alexa Heeney were the offensive standouts with 14 points a piece.
Mrs. Burback told me what she thought of the game and she said "we had way too many turnovers and could not handle wpcc's ball pressure. We were more aggressive on offense the second half but it was too little, too late."
I also talk to Caitlin and got her thought on the game and she said " They were tall and big. Second half went a little better then the first half."
FT-Att.and FT-Made Caitlin had 2 made 1, Alexa had 4 made 2, Brittni had 6 made 4, Marissa had 4 made 3, Justine had 2 made 0.
2-Pt.Att. and 2-Pt Made Caitlin had 5 made 0, Alexa had 6 made 6, Brittni had 6 made 2, Marissa had 4 made 1, Justine had 2 made 1, Brittany had 3 made 0.
The girls will play Omaha Nation on December 11, 2009 in Omaha Nation.
