Opening game against Wisner

The Lady Pirates started off the season with the Northeast Nebraska Tip- off classic. The first round the Lady Pirates played Wisner- Pilger in Wisner. They started the game off a little bit slow and finally after half time they got the butterflies out of their system.
Alexa Heeney, Brittni Bormann and Brittany Pallas were the leading scorers with 9, 6, and 5. Caitlin Casey had 13 total rebounds both offensive and defensive. Alexa Heeney had 4 steals and Marisa Blanke had 3.
The Lady Pirates had a hard time handling the ball. Over all they had 29 turnovers. Hopefully the next couple games turn around and they come out with a win.
The next game the Lady Pirates will play will be West Point CC at Emerson in the Northeast Nebraska Tip-Off Classic.
