Emerson-Hubbard Lady Pirates vs. Dodge Lady Pirates

The Lady Pirates got their second win of the season against the Dodge Pirates, winning 47-42. The girls had an amazing first quarter scoring 18 points and keeping Dodge to only 4. The second quarter didn't go quite as well but they came out strong in the second half to take home a win.
Top rebounders and score leaders of the night were Alexa Heeney, with 15 rebounds and 20 points, and Caitlin Casey, with 13 rebounds and 12 points. Brittni Bormann had 5 points, Marisa Blanke had 6, and Justine Sebade had 4. Marisa also had 6 steals and made some important free throws at the end of the game.
Mrs. Burback said "We had some trouble shooting free throws, but other than that we played really well as a team."
The ladies will take on Coleridge later this week at home. Good luck ladies!
