Lady Pirates vs Homer

The Lady Pirates took on the Knights for the first time this year in the championship game of the Post Holiday Tournament at Wakefield. Both teams came ready to play but the Pirates had some trouble handling their ball pressure and got in foul trouble early. The Knights ended up beating the Pirates 67-35, dropping their record to 8-6.
"We need to work on breaking the press and handling the ball better," says senior Alexa Heeney.
Heeney had 7 points and 7 rebounds in the game. Marisa Blanke had the most points with 9. Brittany Pallas had the most rebounds with 8. Caitlin Casey had 8 points and Brittni Bormann had 5 points and 3 assists.
