Boys Basketball Class D-1 State Match-Ups

    The Emerson-Hubbard Pirates beat Humphrey to make it to state on Tuesday.  Guess who they have to play the first round of the D-1 State Tournament. You guessed it, Humphrey.  Emerson-Hubbard got the 5th seed in the tournament and Humphrey edged out the Pirates to get the 4th seed.  Humphrey got one of the two wildcards to make it to state.  The Emerson-Hubbard Pirates play the Humphrey Bulldogs at Lincoln Northeast at 10:45 AM on Thursday, March 11th.

    All of Class D-1 State Tournament first round games are at Lincoln Northeast.  Freeman got the #1 seed and are playing #8 seed Sandhills/Thedford at 9 AM, March 11th. Overton got the #2 seed and are playing #7 seed Randolph at 2 PM, March 11th.  #3 seed Humphrey St. Francis got the second wildcard to make it to state and are playing #6 seed Exeter-Milligan at 3:45 PM, March 11th.
