After being postponed twice this season due to weather, the Wolfpack Golf Team started their competitive golf season last Tuesday, April 10th at Indian Trails for the West Point – Beemer Invite. Ben Jorgensen had the best round for the wolfpack shooting a 91, earning him 8th place. Gabe Olesen was not far behind shooting a 94 which earned him 11th place. Rounding out the team was Jordan Daum with a 105, Hunter Heikes with a 106, and Landyn Servine with a 122. The team placed 5th out of 8 teams.
On Thursday, April 11th, the Wolfpack Golf Team traveled to Laurel for the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Invite. Braving the brutal wind conditions and cold temperatures, the team placed 6th out of 15 teams. Gabe Olesen was the front man for the Wolfpack shooting a 90, earning 11th place. Ben Jorgensen shot a 92 which put him in a scorecard playoff but did not receive a top 15 medal. Hunter Heikes came in with a 94, Jordan Daum with a 110, and Landyn Servine with a 120. The Wolfpack will be back in action on Thursday for the Lutheran High Northeast Invite at the Norfolk Country Club.
