On Thursday, May 2nd, the Tri County Northeast Golf Team competed in the Wayne Invite. What could quite possibly be the toughest tournament of the year, the Wolfpack shot their best round of the year as a team, shooting a 374, placing 10th out of 15 teams.
Leading the wolfpack was junior Ben Jorgensen who shot his season low with an 83, earning him 15th place. Junior Gabe Olesen shot his best round of the year with an 87, one stroke away from medaling. Senior Hunter Heikes shot a 98, freshman Landyn Servine shot a 106, and Senior Michael Dickens shot a 111.
The Wolfpack will be back in action with a busy week starting Monday, May 6, competing in the Ponca Quad. Tuesday, May 7th, they will be competing in the Wakefield Invite at Wayne Country Club, and finishing out their regular season on Wednesday, May 8th, at the Ponca Invite.
