Calendar Change: No School for Students on Wednesday, November 25, 2020
We are going to adjust the calendar for Wednesday, November 25th ~ There will be No School for our students, but the staff will report for PD/a teacher work day. High school basketball and wrestling practices will still be held.
In order to provide added support for our students, we are inviting and encouraging all students who have been absent due to COVID-19 or who need additional help with school work, to come to school between 7:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. to work individually with classroom teachers.
The Nebraska Commissioner of Education has implemented instructional time flexibilities during the 2020-2021 school year to allow districts to provide professional development for our teachers. Due to COVID-19 isolation and quarantine measures, teachers are required to teach both in person and online and we need to provide them with more time to plan, prepare and learn how to best serve each student.
We appreciate your support and open communication. We are working hard to provide the highest quality education for each student, while keeping students and staff safe.

Reminder Elementary Students: Wear that super hero shirt, pants, or both tomorrow (Monday) as we recognize that "Character is our SUPERPOWER!" Which super hero will Mr. Nielsen have on his shirt??! I'm excited to emphasize the importance of good character this week!

3rd Grade STEAM had fun learning more about the first Thanksgiving, building the “Mayflower,” seeing whose ship could hold the most coins before sinking, and using math to count and find the difference! Thanks for coming 3rd grade!
In MS STEAM in the last feed weeks we have made an articulated hand and an optical illusion art project.

Congratulation to Zach Shanks and Garrett Blanke for being named to the District 2 Class D-2 All District football Team. Zach is a Senior Offensive Lineman and Garrett is a Junior Linebacker. Also selected as an Honorable Mention is Senior, Ryan Kinnaman.
It’s Family Turkey Time again in 2nd Grade!
The HS Basketball and Wrestling parent meeting scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. The coaches will send information home later this week.
