To all 9-12 grade Emerson-Hubbard Students,
The E-H coaching staff is putting together plans to begin Summer Weights & Conditioning on Monday June 1st. In order to conduct these sessions the coaching staff must follow the established Department of Health and NSAA guidelines. The guidelines are as follows:
Each session can have no more than 10 students.
Students can only attend the session they have signed up for / been assigned to.
Social distancing of 6 feet must be observed.
Sessions can only consist of strength training, running and non sport specific activities.
In order to conform to these guidelines students will need to sign up for a specific session.
Students should email Coach Kvidera jkvidera@ehpirates.org their preference of a time for their weights and conditioning session. Please rank your preference for a session. The Coaching staff will try to accomodate, as best they can, individual preferences but may have to assign students to sessions. Sessions will be held Monday through Thursday.
Daily Sessions
6:00 - 6:45 am
7:00 - 7:45 am
8:00 - 8:45 am
3:00 - 3:45 pm
Students rank your preferences with a first, second, third and fourth ranking and email those to Coach Kvidera. Please have your rankings sent by Thursday May 21st.
Session times may change depending on the number of students that sign up.
At this time Open Gyms and sport specific activities are not permitted by the NSAA.
As per NSAA guidelines attendance at summer strength and conditioning sessions is voluntary.
The Emerson-Hubbard Community Fitness Center will re-open on Monday, June 1st. Guidelines will be posted and must be followed: No more than 10 people in the fitness center at any one time, you must maintain 6-feet distance between yourself and others, you must wipe down the equipment after every use, and if you are sick - stay home.
We appreciate everyone's patience; all annual memberships will be credited with an additional 3 months. If you have any questions, please contact us at 402-695-2621.
