Kindergarten celebrated Earth Day by releasing our butterflies. We sure will miss them, but we really enjoyed watching them go from caterpillar to butterfly!
Preschool has learned all of their alphabet letters! This week was Zz and we had fun making art projects with zoo animals! Check out our zoo train!
National Honor Society Induction/Academic Activity Awards night will be held on Monday, April 25 at 6:00 PM. Please come and celebrate all the great student academic successes throughout the year.

Due to the predicted forecast, tomorrow's (April 20th) Junior High Track meet in Laurel has been postponed to a later unknown date.
Parents, here is the information for District Music Contest on April 22nd. All 6-12 band members and all 9-12 choir students will be attending. Please note that band students will need to have black socks and black shoes to wear with their uniform. Choir students will need black shoes, and the boys will also need black pants. The Nebraska FFA Convention was back for the first time in three years! Fifteen excited FFA members made the trip to experience all aspects of this amazing convention. Everyone got to compete against other members from across the state, be inspired by the speakers at session, and witness the success of fellow members. These students have returned home motivated to work harder so that they could be recognized on stage next year.

While at the State FFA Convention, members took the opportunity to talk with Trooper Koch and tour the Nebraska State Patrol headquarters. Not all members in FFA pursue a career in Agriculture but hopefully the leadership they've learned can be applied to successful career.
If you have not signed your child up for the dental program yet this school year, you still can. Fill out the forms (also found in your April newsletter) and return them with your child to the school no later than Tuesday. The dental team will be in Emerson on Wednesday morning.
