The 5th graders had a great time at the zoo. Such a beautiful day to explore!

The 3rd grade has been discussing respectful behaviors. They created and presented individual letters. Their poster is on display by the cafeteria in the elementary building. Great Job!

Here is the t-shirt design

The 7th graders preformed their Lewis and Clark Expedition Live Museum today and they did great! As a class we read the historical fiction book: The Captain’s Dog by Roland Smith.
Before starting we did an inflation project to see the difference in prices between 1803 and today. They also tracked the weather to see one challenge the crew faced, the ever changing weather patterns. While reading the students kept track of the journey by creating journals. After, they had to research Native American tribes the Corps encountered, create posters of the animal/plant discovery they were assigned, and research a crew member.
It was fun to see their hard work pay off.
